Drinkin' Out of a Straw

Mikayla finally was able to drink out of a straw today! I made a smoothie for her and showed her how to use the straw (we do this every time I drink out of a straw). She grabbed the cup out of my hand and tried. She was able to do it on the first try! She had a very shocked look on her face and, then, she smiled and clapped (with the cup in her hand). After a quick clean-up, I gave the cup back to her and she happily sipped away most of the smoothie. I saved some so Cullen could see her do it when he got home from work.
