Randomness

The cleaning ladies came by today. Mikayla watched them very intently for the first hour. After they left she brought me her box of wipes and made a grunting noise (which means she wants a wipe). So, I gave her a wipe. She proceeded to walk around and used the wipe as a cleaning rag. She wiped the tables, the TV, the entertainment unit, the windows, the couch and anything else that she could reach. Soon I will have my own cleaning lady . We can tell her to pick up her toys and put them in her toy box. We can tell her to pick up her clothes and put them in her closet. SHE ACTUALLY DOES IT! She walks around the apartment and finds trash to throw away in the garbage can. Now we just have to teach her what is really trash and what is stuff that we need (as I'm typing this she is picking up my debit card and throwing it into the trash).

Second cute thing...I was watching Oprah today and they had these two girls who left Rwanda in 1999 after having their family slaughtered during the Massacre in 1994. They found out in 2001 that they parents and siblings had survived. Oprah brought them to the show to reunite. It was very sweet and brought tears to my eyes. I was crying like a baby (Funny how things change once you have a kid). Mikayla walked up to me, wiped the tears with her pointer finger and then "painted" them on her face. Awwww!
